Co-curricular musings of a Future Student Affairs Professional...
I am a Multi-tasking, overly optimizing, precociously planning twenty-something trying to find my place in the world. Buried under goals, plans, and an obsession with future success. Trying to live for now while living with others. Combining lifestyles, compromising, tolerating and waiting. On a scenic detour through life. I love to much. I care too much. I talk too much. I am too much. Life is too short to be less, so I go for MUCH! @asujonesboro & @AlphaTauOmegaHQ Alumnus, @IllinoisStateU CSPA #sagrad, CR&R #SJ GA, @MUGOGREEK Pract Intern, @SFAIevents Intern, and ΘΘ & ΘI- ATO advisor. http://about.me/bryanbristol

Now I can make my own! - Bow-ties!

Make a monthly calendar that’s as changeable as your schedule. Instead of crossing out plans as dates shift, just move the notes and stack them up on busy days.
Post-it-Note Calendar How-To
Start with a 26 1/2-inch square sheet of Masonite fiberboard. Spray-paint it white, and let dry. Then use tape (we suggest easy-to-reposition washi tape) to create a seven-by-seven grid of three-inch squares.
Post-it Notes, in Tropical, $20 for 12, and Neon, $19 for 12,staples.com. Washi tape, in Bright Sherbet, $20 for 5 assorted rolls, happytape.com. Maxi Classic bag, $131, by Brave Brown Bag, from purlsoho.com.

"I'm Not a Scientist"

  • — Barb:
  • "Why isn't this sticking?" Trying to stick a magnetized sign to a door
  • — Bryan:
  • "B/c its not magnetized."
  • — Barb:
  • Show's me the sign, "See those are magnets!"
  • — Bryan:
  • "No Barb, the door isn't magnetized!"
  • — Barb:
  • "I'm not a scientist!"
  • This is why I love my Job and Barb Dallinger!

Meet me at the Club…this is why I am happy as a Grad and paraprofessional I was done with school last week! Geeze! Imagine if I actually had projects and finals to study for.

Another awesome video about college transition from the landmark musical The Freshman Experiment by Kerrigan and Lowdermilk. How to return home is something I completely identity with! As I go home for Christmas break and even over Thanksgiving its something I have to deal with! Listen to the lyrics!
